Okay so a couple of days ago I bought a brand new Verbatim 320gb external hd. I then went home to my macbook pro plugged it in and it only showed it had a capacity of 120gb. I did reformat and partition it as it was in a ntfs format that I couldn't write to on mac, but that shouldn't waste all that space. Why has this happened and how can I use the whole 320gb?
Note: I have also attatched the screenshot of the hard drive info showing how it can only hold 120gb.
