Please tell us a little more, make and full model of the computer if branded. eg Dell Inspiron etc.
A desktop OR a laptop - although the FULL model details will provide that but please tell us anyway.

What were you doing when it froze.
Are there any messages displayed on the screen
Does the computer post - in otherwords does the first screen with the BIOS type, ram and drive listings display.

What modes have you tried to start in on the F8 key etc.

The more you tell us the greater the chance we have of assisting you
