Good morning,
I am having a problem with my usb ports that I'm hoping you can help me with. Whenever I plug in a storage device, programs start to freeze and stop responding.
Trying to close them with the Task Manager accomplishes nothing, and I eventually have to just do a cold shutdown on the computer, unplug the device and restart.
This seems to happen with an external floppy drive or camera. I have an external hard drive, which when connected, works fine. I've tried using different ports, and an external powered usb hub to no avail.
Your help on this is greatly appreciated.
