Yes I normally use ethernet cable I put in the wireless to see if that part was failing and keeping me from connecting

Did you do it from an Elevated Command Prompt as I mentioned?

If yes, what happens if you enter just ipconfig by itself? (also from an Elevated Command Prompt). If you get a response like:

then it's time for you to visit our malware area.

Go to the Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal forum, read the first post and follow instructions.

Come back here once you get a clean bill of health if you still have problems.

When I put up config on its own I get the lethernet. Adapter connection

DNA suffix etc
All seems normal from what I'm told accept after it says tunnel adapter....?? Not sure if it's suppost to say that and media state ..... Media disconnected

When I try and ping the default gateway number it times out a bunch of times then says
Sent 4 recieved 0 lost 4 100% loss

Okay, thanks. Not having an Elevated Command prompt can prevent commands like this from working so I wanted to be sure. What did yours return for IPV4 address and Default Gateway address?

Do you have a flash drive? If so, I really want to see the output of ipconfig /all. Since ipconfig by itself worked, ipconfig /all should also work.

Open an Elevated Command Prompt.
Enter the following exactly as shown, note the spaces between words and parameters. I shortened the command by removing the ping.

ipconfig /all > postme.txt & notepad postme.txt

Copy postme.txt to the flash drive then you can take it to another computer to copy and paste here.

So this is where we stand now:

You are running with a new, clean install of Windows 7.
It has not made any difference in the network connectivity problem.

Have you tried replacing or swapping the network cable? If not give that a try.
The next thing to try is to install a new/borrowed PCI Network Card and see if that works.

Hi, lets look at this in a different way, i take it you are using a wireless connection, lets use a Lan cable and see if your network card is ok? also don't be wiping anything yet. ok

No,using a Ethernet cable connection. Just tried the wireless as a test.

It's hard for MOMG to post here as it's being done over her cell phone.

I already wiped and I don't have a wireless connection only using LAN line my computer doesn't have the readme file and won't do that

Not sure what this means, but do you now have an internet connection? If so is your problem resolved?

No idea what a pc card scrabler is but if it works that's good news.
