Hello all,
I have been trying for the last couple of days to re-install an HUP Office 2010 Pro Plus on a new install of Win 7 x64.
I switched from XP where Office worked fine.

When I first tried it I received the error code 1920 (osppsvc).
So, after searching numerous MS help and support sites, and trying various so called fixes,

I'm now getting the error code 1402 ...... registry key UNKNOWN/........

Let me know what you think and how I can fix this situation.

Thank You!

eZAK,

Both of those errors are caused by not having the right level of permissions to modify registry keys when performing the install. Are you an administrator on the PC? There is a Microsoft article here that provides some more detail. Windows 7 provides higher default levels of user account control than XP. Getting the permissions correct should allow you to successfully install the program.

Sari,

Yes, I'm the Admin.
I also retried that Microsoft article. No such luck!
