cant remove norton 360

Hi dudeski,
Do you have administrator privileges on your account? If you don't, that's why you can't uninstall Norton 360. If you do, you can contact centurylink and see if there is a special uninstaller that they provide for the Norton 360 that come from them. Or you can use the Norton Removal Tool Link
But if your problems didn't start until you downloaded a free program, it's possible that you got more than you bargained for and the free program included a hitchhiker (virus).
If you want to eliminate that possibility you can go to the Virus,Spyware,Malware Removal forum, click the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide

thanks, i did as you said and downloaded the norton removal tool onto a disc from my wifes laptop and ran it. it fixed it right up. thanks for your help. much needed.
