HDMI PS3 to LCD TV

I have a 46'' LCD HDTV Full HD 1080p HDMI Westington
Unfortunately I lost the remote to the tv, and have been trying to put the ps3 into 1080p, but also the tv is set in 480, I can't find any tv settings for that either.
