Hey folks I have been building a computer over the past few months, waiting for components to go on offer or sale before I purchase them.

I am still looking for CPU and MOBO.
I don't live near a Microcenter or Frys so it has to be online via newegg or tigerdirect.

I have about $350 to spend on cpu and mobo (for now it has to have integrated gfx too)
I have heard that Intel are ahead of AMD but of course everyone has an opinion.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I have so far
Case = $34.99 (I love this case, most are black but this one is white!)

Power Supply - $50 after rebate

Sony DVD Drive - Free with the power supply

Hard Drive (80GB SSD - super fast) = $69.99 after rebate

RAM - 8GB DDR3 1600mhz = $29.99

Dont expect top of the range gaming without an add on video card.
Missing from your list are an OS and a HDD for storage.
