my windows xp 2000 has a slight blur, does this mean i have a virus? have a viruspro tection thru my phone service, when it scans says no virus, adware, etc found. the blur is on every site, at startup, homepage etc. thank you

What do you mean by a "slight blur"?
If it happens before Windows has loaded, that's an entirely different issue and may be a problem with the monitor.

sorry it took so long to get back to u, i did check the monitor, seems good. the blur is sometimes on my desktop photo, but also online, e- mail,facebook,on this site too. it's almost like the ink in words are slightly smearing, i don't know how else to explain it. thank you for your help
