My stepdaughter restarted the router & now I cannot connect to the internet on my new laptop. The desktop computer is online so it's just a problem w/ the wireless network connection. Prior to the router being restarted the laptop had no issues.

Please help me!
Thanks in advance!

if all she did was power cycle the router then you should be able to shut down your computer and restart your computer to get access to the internet...
if she reset the router to factory you will have to set it up all over again like the day you bought it and plugged it in
