Hi All,

Am new to this.

I regularly get the BSOD (or a flavour of it).It seems to be caused by ntkrnla.exe.

Now I see there are other posts out there but none have really helped me. Also am I correct in saying this usually happens with Vista? I USED to run Vista on this laptop but converted to W7.

Not sure what particulars you need but I ran BlueScreenView and have a dump.

All help gratefully appreciated.

Go Pats!!

Hi -

ntkrnlpa.exe = Windows NT Kernel; 1 CPU, PAE enabled

It shows up in dumps as a default.

If BSODs are software related, the Driver Verifier can help ID the offending driver - http://www.sysnative...er_Verifier.htm

Let Driver Verifier run for at least 24 hours. Use the system normally.

If BSOD occurs under D/V -- get the dump file, zip it up & attach to your next post.
