Kapersky Pure Write Error!

I need help! I recently installed Kapersky Pure on my laptop, and every time it tries to back up, I get a "write error" box that pops up quickly and then goes away. I just clicked the regular "recommended" install and everything seemed to go smooth with no issues when installing. I don't even know where to start to try and correct this, thus the need for an expert. Can someone direct me, please? Thank you so much. By the way, I have Windows & and IE.
