I made the two programs run again, and again I let them delete all they found but just like the first time spybot remarked as RED the following "line" but did not delete it:

Please do the following:
Update both Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware SE to the latest reference files.

Then reboot into SafeMode and run both of the programs.
Remove anything they find.

Let me know if Spybot S&D gives you the same results.

Hi rstones,
I made run both updated programs again in safe mode (it was even much faster) and they found again several things to delete.
In particular spybot was finally able to delete"download accelerator plus" line.
But I found that everythign that spybot ever found is still in RECOVERY folder as backups: do I have to delete all definitely ("purge selected items" button)?

don't you find anyting wrong in my last HJT log anymore?
I hope so...
Anyway my microsoft antispyware always keeps on finding and deleting everyday a browser modifier (considered severe) called COOL WEB SEARCHER. Is there a way to delete it for good?
