Whenever I turn on my laptop, It shows me the computer logo (for compact) and then it goes directly to a black screen with a little cursor blinking in the top left corner. It won't go to the windows screen or finish starting up at all. I wanted to know what this means and what I should possibly do. I've tried pushing F8, and all the other function keys but they haven't worked. Im only able to push escape while it first starts and it takes me to the basic menu with the function keys. Again, I've tried them all but had no luck. Some tips and advice would be great. Thanks.
