I am using Windows XP Pro SP2. After isntallatio, i created user1 (=me) which I use for all my work. After several days, the sound icon in the sytem tray comes and goes. soemtimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't. If I go to Control-System-Sound, the "show ison" is clicked. if i unclick it, and then "apply" and then re-click it and "apply", the sound icon comes back////but thenext time I boot, it maty or may not be there. Any suggestions on how to overcome this? In the administrator's log in, the soudn icon always appears!
