I am unable to run any programs, including IE, Firefox, Google Chrome without having to right click/run as administrator. If I click on a program I get the following error: Choose the program you want to open this with (only option in there is IE. If I click the IE, window closes and still unable to run.

I had a problem with the Win7 Security and finally got it removed but the results are no programs able to run.

I did go into control panel and created another user and am able to access that new account and programs but need to fix the main user account. I was going to copy all my files from the one account into the other then delete the original account, but when I'm logged into the 2nd account I am unable to view the first account files even though I am sharing them.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi -

Please see - http://windows.micro...ed-user-profile

If that doesn't work, activate the Hidden Admin user account to copy the files from the old user profile to the new one -

I don't know if this will help but it may: Restore Default Windows 7 File Extension Type Associations

Do the one for .exe
