I have windows XP, and was doing my usual day-to-day internet shenanigans when suddenly everything shut down on me and I couldn't open any files. I tried going into safe mode many times to run AVG, but that did nothing.
After a few attempts, when I logged back on normally I got error code 0xc004d301.
I have no idea what to do!
I asked my dad if he had the back up disk so I could reformat everything, but he does not. If I need to buy a new system, I'd be willing.. But I'd like to try and fix my laptop first!
