No sound from onboard sound

Not sure what you mean by this!I'm working with a clone pc,
Many computers will only have the one audio connection on the MB meaning that only the outlets that are connected to it will function, the same may apply with USB ports, if we knew what the MB was it would help.

NOTE
The back panel audio line out connector is designed to power headphones or amplified speakers
only. Poor audio quality occurs if passive (non-amplified) speakers are connected to this output.
Do you have a seperate power supply for the rear outputs

Go to control panel and open it and click on sound , under the play back tab,left click on the speaker icon.
Select the "Set default" for the on board audio device.
If the on board device is not selectable,reinstall the driver for the board audio device.
