Can I burn a DVD-R DL 8.5GB Disk on my PC?

Just wondering if anyone knows if I can burn that type of disk on my PC, I know I can burn a DVD-RW 4.7 disk but what about a DVD-R DL 8.5GB Disk or a DVD+R DL 8.5 these disk http://www.google.co...t:429,r:3,s:0??

According to the specs on your burner it does say you can burn DL disks.

Someone told me that my drive is NOT DVD-R Dual Layer compatible according to this? Can you show me where on this it says my drive IS DVD-R Dual Layer compatible to burn onto?

No it won't do rewritable but only one time writable type.

Thaks, but that is not DVD-R its only DVD+R is that right? Or should it still work?

OK thanks, I dont suppose you know how to burn a video to DVD and could maybe talk me through it? Maybe via skype?

Don't use Skype and it will all depend on what program you are using. Most have a option to burn video to dvd. It really depends on what format the video is in.
