I have heard that most 10k+ rpm hdd's tend to burn out quick; however, I have heard that certain companies make fast hdd's that last. I need a primary hdd 15k preferrably, though 10k will do, 240-300gb, sata 3 that will probably last me 3 years. Here's my build (currently under way)

NZXT switch 810 black steel-fan filters, full atx, side window

AMD FX 6100 6x3.3ghtz

ASUS Sabertooth 990fx nb 950 sb onboard sound, fiber optic audio

Zotac GTX 570 1.2gb hdmi 2560x1600 res

2x4gb ddr3 1886-not sure what brand

built-in 1gb wifi-again not sure what brand

primary hdd-still shopping, see above

secondary hdd-seagate barracuda 7200 rpm 2tb sata 3

power supply-ultra 750w 45 amp

I'm looking for input from owners of hdd's of 10,000 rpm's or above as their primary hdd for atleast a year
