i feel like my computer is in risk of CMOS low battery.
since its time went all the way back to 2007.

can someone tell me where to get CMOS batter, and just some information about it?
and how to replace it

is there passcode required after reinserting a new one?

will memory be lost?

i own a dell window visita laptop
its a inspiration e1505

are there tips?

is there ways to keep the CMOS battery life longer than it is before i remove it or find a battery?
what's going to happen to the laptop once the battery runs out?
is there a difference between battery running out and taking the battery out?
please this is the first time this is happening to me and i am really scared.

Just about any computer retailer, Watch store or something like Radio Shack

is there passcode required after reinserting a new one?

Normally no unless you have one already used

are there tips?

Tips as far as what?

No they will eventually run low.

what's going to happen to the laptop once the battery runs out?

The time and date will not be correct which could cause some programs and internet not to work correctly. You will have to verify bios settings every time you boot.

is there a difference between battery running out and taking the battery out?

Both reset the bios back to default settings which means the date and time will not be right.

The battery will probably be less then $5.00 and it is not that hard to change as long as you take your time doing it.

If yours looks like the picture I posted you can see on the right a metal spring clip. Gently pull it back and the battery should pop loose.
Don't break the clip or there will be no way to secure the battery.
