Hi

I hope this is the correct section - I am not that great with this kind of thing so I am hoping that someone can offer me some advice. I have been having problems with my laptop for the last couple of months i.e. running slow, crashing etc etc then recently there is a problem with displaying some things on the internet i.e. you tube movie clips wont play and certain ebay items wont open. I think this may have somehting to do with Java?? I found the following notepad script on my desktop - do now of this gives you any further info:

First thing I would suggest is get rid of all your Java's and install only a fresh copy of the newest. Do this by following the below instructions.

Please download JavaRa from the link in my signature below to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder
  • * Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
    * Accept any prompts.
    * Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
    * Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button.
  • Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.

Are you saying JavaRa did not work and if so what error message did it give you?
