Windows HP LaserJet error message

I keep getting an error message saying HP LaserJet Service stopped working and was closed. A problem caused the application to stop working cor correctly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available. If I close the message it comes back. My HP laserjet all-in-one works fine and doesn't shut down as the message says. Is this a virus and how do I get rid of it?
