First time computer builder. My build is going to mostly be for gaming and homework as I am a college student. My budget is around 1000 dollars I have been searching forums and this is the build I decided on but I recently found a bundle on newegg and was looking for some input and any information as this is my first build and tips would be awesome. I live in America, Georgia specifically, this computer will be almost entirely for gaming. Purchase date will be this week. Monitor, mouse , keyboard, sound not needed.

Hi stevenjc721Posted Image

OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W gets a fail, not to say it is a bad unit, but you can do better for the money.

650W would be more than enoug for this rig. 3 to look at, my choice would be the Corsair TX650, not modular.

Motherboard. Your board + my recommended, The Z68 Extreme4, more for your money and just slightly cheaper taking shipping into account. If you don't think you would install a second video card then I would buy the Z68 Extreme3.

HDD. I reccomend this drive, http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822148840

Is there a specific reason for including the D-Lnk?

The rest of the selection is very good.

You have not listed an OS or a Optical drive.
