Using XP Pro sp3.
I have 2 folders in My Documents that I cannot remove. I tried "remove on Boot" GiPo@Utilities; didnt work. Tried to delete in safe mode. nada. The error message is always the same: "cannot read from the source file or disk." Ran ccleaner. Ran Spybot. Ran Auslogics. No help.

Any suggestion appreciated!
Paul

May I ask what the 2 folders are called?

Go to this page... http://www.filehippo...nload_unlocker/

And Download Latest Version on the upper right hand side.

Once installed, right click on the folder/file you want to delete and choose unlocker, and follow prompts to delete, etc.

Fixed?

Another scenario is these may be hidden folders and won't delete without taking ownership of them as the administrator. :whistling:

sorry for the slow response.
The two folders are in My Documents, and are called
"dvd" & "johnny"
They showed up after I used DVD Flick to convert them from avi to be able to burn a dvd (which was successful).
I will download the unlocker and let you know!
Many thanks
Paul
