Windows 7 starter edition

Hi Guys

I just got an HP mini with win7 starter Whenever I try to save a file...there is no save button to press
Ive tried control s ...still no luck
Any suggestions? Never had this issue before

I have NO experience with W 7 starter...with that said...
what program are you using when your trying to save a file...notepad ect...
