Hi there, I am wondering if there is a way to address the issue that
if a member of the household is streaming videos, I stay lag-free during games.

(it drives me insane! LOL)

I play CS 1.6 which is very low demanding and a member of the flat whether rent,
or family, usually streams. Thanks for ALL the help in advance !
;)

maybe tweak the router or modem or something? I don't know

There is a function called Quality of Service that most routers have the ability to use.
To put it in very easy terms, with QoS you can give your gaming packets a higher priority than the streaming packets.
