Using Thunderbird 10, Windows 7 64 bit; within the past month Thunderbird has stopped displaying certain graphics in my email. It appears to be (mostly) ads. What I get is a "placeholder" (broken page symbol). I have tried everything I can find on the internet, i.e., HTML checked, "Display Attachment inline", sender is in my address book, mail.default_html_action = 3, mailnews.message ..=true, update JAVA. If I use Windows Live Mail (which I don't like) all graphics display properly. I wanted to attach a sample but it says "this kind not permitted" -- Any suggestions?

Now finding that Windows Live Mail is NOT displaying certain email graphics -- must have something to do with Windows 7 ???? HELP
