I am puzzled. A check of the sound devices by viewing the properties for each one results in reading that the status of each is working properly. The mute in the volume control is not selected and the volume is set to about 75 % full volume. When the troubleshooting procedure is followed, not even the system sounds will play through the laptops speakers.

Any ideas?

Have a good day,
