I posted this problem a few days ago, with 120 views and 0 responses, this tells me I am wording it wrong. I'm sorry
I will try explaining it.
I have a request to show someone how to do a certain procedure in Solidworks. I want to be in Solidworks, and make a video of all the movements I am making on the Solidworks screen, showing what I am doing with my cursor, to choose certain tools, etc. I know there is a way to record this using either Windows Media Player, or Windows Movie Maker. Will someone explain this procedure to me please? I also know it records it in the avi format.
Thank you,
zoe calle

Hello,

Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker both do not have the ability to record screen. For that you will need a dedicated program. I haven't used it but have heard good things about CamStudio:

Cheers.
