Best = gaming performance
Need some advice on this build i'm working on.
Will these all work together properly?
And if anyone has any suggestions i'm open to changes.

I already have a mouse, keyboard, comfy chair, headphones.

These should all work together and kick butt hopefully.

Hi Black1ce,

Only time for a quick look at you proposed build.

As far as I am aware, there are no AMD Motherboards at present that are PCI-E 3.0 enabled so your video card would not take advantage of the new standard.

Thanks, thats just the sort of thing I was looking for. If anyone could recommend a board I would really appreciate it. I have learned quite abit on my own so far but nothing beats years of experience.

Looks like you are aiming for a top end gaming rig. To be able to support the GPU card, you will have to switch to Intel, Mobo/CPU, with a subsequent increase in cost.

Intel is pushing the latest Sandy Bridge E, Socket 2011 which I think is overkill for a gaming rig. There maybe some benefits for gaming as the CPU chipset supports
PCI-E version 3.0 which can be used by the latest top end video cards.

I usually spec a Z68 Mobo, Socket 1155, Sandy Bridge i5 2500K or i7 2600K, (if games being played are Multi Threaded). The higher you go with cost there is a diminishing performance return.

I would suggest deferring for a month as Ivy Bridge is confirmed due April. Some will operate on existing Z68 Motherboards

PSU. Poor quality unit, I would not buy. Not certified, No PFC. reports it has the same specs as the 750w. Manufacturer, Superflower.

RAM. When installed, check in the BIOS it is running as per it's specs. You may have to set them manually.
