Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium which, when trying to turn on, provides me with the "Loading Windows" screen, and then BSOD.
The code given on the BSOD is 0x00008086

I then inserted my Windows Vista recovery disk and selected "Install Windows", yet when prompted to insert my product key (which I found on the base of the laptop and entered), it prompted me that this was invalid.

I then proceeded back to the Recovery Disk options, and selected "Repair Windows".
After some time, I am greeted by the screen "Select an operating system to repair and click next", however there are no operating systems listed.
I have the option to "Load drivers" and there are files in there, but I do not know which one to use.

Any help in restoring my laptop would be much appreciated.
Dan

- I will post some pictures soon of the screens I am receiving to help if required.
