When I tried to do windows update am getting-Some updates were not installed.Failed :1 update- WindowsUpdate 8007007E failed.Have windows 7 on sony laptop. Please advise

Please download FarbarServiceScanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
http://download.blee.../farbar/FSS.exe


Make sure the following options are checked:
Internet Services
Windows Firewall
System Restore
Security Center/Action Center
Windows Update

Press "Scan".
It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
Please copy and paste the log to your reply.


Please download MINITOOLBOX and run it.

Checkmark following boxes:


Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size


Click Go and post the result.

before we get too deep into it I should let you know after I posted this I ran a virus scan and posted this in the malware -spyware virus section.Let me know if I should just wait and see what they say or do as you suggest.Sorry if I did a no-no buy doing so.I have pasted the whole post here:



I just ran avira and see that I have the below virus's identified?(report below) I had previously had you guys help me remove the Google redirect virus.Is it possible that this is leftover? I was alerted to this by getting an error on my windows update-"Some updates were not installed".Failed :1 update- Windows Update 8007007E failed. Have windows 7 on sony laptop. Please advise

You should wait to see what the malware techs say I am not qualified to deal with malware. :)
