Hello. I am trying to help my parents out and need your opinion.

They have an HP Pavillion Media Center desktop like this:

Currently there is an Nvidia GeForce 7350 LE graphics card there but the pins are somewhat broke on the VGA output. I was wondering what card can I swap with it? It doesnt have to be the newest or best, I just want something compatible.

The S-video cables are not damaged, but the monitor does not support s-video. So I could solve the problem with this:

However, I've heard that going that way will cause noticeable loss of quality to the picture. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the brand and model of the monitor being used, knowing this will tell us what type of connections are/is required for the new card.
