infected with system check, unable to use roguekiller, lookig for help

I got infected by System check, watch twice roguekiller tutorial, downloaded it, followed instruction, but the icon stayed red, and I could not clean the computer. I am lost, I cannot work anymore, help please. my system is Windows 7 pro (and not Windows XP as stated below), I also have a Windows XP "ghost" program on my computer.
