ok so i have all the programs but i dont know how to run imgburn at all

4. Download, and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/
5. Insert blank CD into your CD drive.
6. Open ImgBurn, and click on Write image file to disc
7. Click on Browse for a file... icon:


8. Locate the ISO file Seatools for dos that you downloaded
9. Click to place that in the Img Burn window and then click the arrow as shown below

ok so ran the test and it said that no harddrive is found

That is not a good sign.
That could mean the hard drive has failed.
Go into the bios and make sure the hard drive is identified there. If so make sure to click F10 to save and exit. This should make sure the bios on boot sees the hard drive. If still no hard drive then it could be a loose connection inside the system or a bad hard drive.

ok so two things happened. one i have been trying all the ways to get to to the bois menu and two when i tryed to get there once something weird happened loaded the computer and it took forever so i turned it off then everything just loaded back and now i cant do it again.

The bios is also called the setup, bios sometimes even called the cmos.
The way of getting in may vary depending on the motherboard installed. Normally it is by pushing the DEL button on the very first black screen where it counts up your memory.
On Some systems it could be any of the following... F2, F4, F10 or F12
When you first turn your system on it should tell you either in the bottom left or the top right how to enter this part of the system.

On your computer F2 is the key to enter BIOS setup.
immediately the first post screen appears keep tapping F2.

If the drive IS SHOWN in the bios - DO NOT proceed with the advice for system recovery as you will lose everthing installed and be back to how it was when sold
If the drive is NOT shown in the BIOS, after folowing the advice on that link I have sent you, then you need further advice.

ok something really weird happen again. i tried loading the bios and everything just came back out of no were.

What do you mean everything came back?
Did you get into the bios and then save and exit? Did everything boot normally then?

i tapped f2 and then the boot menu for what os came up and everything just loaded like normal.

So that means you are up and running the way you want now?

um more or less now. idk if t will stay up because this is the second time this has happened.

Just a thought but it could be the cmos battery and it is causing the bios to lose the hard drive settings.
Is your date and time right in the bios and on your desktop?

ok I still can not get to it. the closes I can get to is f8

OK check the date and time in Windows. Bottom right corner. Is it correct?
