my daughter has ds lite with the R4 card. can an R4 card be updated or the firmware updated so it can be used with dsi ?

any help would be appreciated

Just created an account, havent figured out how to create a post. Do either of you know where I could order R4 cards off the internet for my friends and I? We both have Ds lites
