basically ive got a problem with ma sound,
when i go into the sound properties it's greyed out!
im on windows xp ..

please don't use the fancy font

we may be able to help BUT you need to explain in more detail
tell us everything you tried to fix the problem and what the results were...

did you add any new hardware or software recently...
get any updates for windows or any software just prior to the problem...
what is the make and model of your computer...
what are your system specs...
did it ever work correctly...if so...try system restore
go back at least a week before you started having problems...

I Went To The Bios Thing ,The Only Thing Saying Integrated - Was Integradted Nic ?
The Only Thing That Said Audio In The Bios Was The Audio Controller - And It Was Sigmatel 9200???

go here...its the top driver
SIGMATEL-Driver
R171788.exe (7MB)


just click on it after downloading it and wait until its installed then reboot
get all the drivers there downloaded and install them all...the check the device manager again

Happyrock has asked me to continue here with you since we have been working on the other topic together. Please let me know if the steps he posted helped and when done installing the drivers please reboot and then get another Device Manager screenshot.
