Hello Geeks,

Hearing so much about you and how good you people are ! Can anyone fix this problem. I recently changed the keyboard on my laptop as it wouldnt let me type anything and ever since then I have been having problems. I had two broswers mozirally firefox and explorer of which I deleted firefox now, hoping to fix the problem. But no

when I click on explorer , it takes a long time for it to load. I have PANDA antivirus installed and wondering if that is slowing it down. I have to wait a long time to open a window and between using programs such as Microsoft outlook which does not help me send any emails from that program. I can receive emails but cant send them. Please hoping someone can fix this problem. I would be really grateful.

thanks
Ardyth

OTL program is taking a long time to run. I Have downloaded it successfully.

Please note:
  • Remember to post your logs, not attach them. So, any logs from any programs we run, should be just 'copied & pasted' into your reply.
  • Please only run the tools that I request. I know malware can be frustrating but running other tools in the meantime and between posts, only makes it harder for us to analyse and fix your PC in the long run.
  • Please subscribe to this topic if you have not already done so. Please check back just in case, as the email system can fail at times.
  • Just because your machine is running better does not mean it is completely cleaned. Please wait for the 'all clear' from me to say when we are done.
  • Please reply within 3 days to be fair to other people asking for help.
  • Please tell me if you have your original Windows CD/DVD available
  • When in doubt, please stop and ask first. There's no harm in asking questions!

Hi,

This is malware removal forum. From your description of the issue it sounds like a hardware/driver problem. But anyway... Tell me first, you changed keyboard with original one?

Hi Render,

First of all, thank you for offering to help me out.

1. I do not have the original Windows CD/ DVD.
2. I had issues with my original keyboard and so I changed it for a new one. I had issues with that as it stopped working and now now I am back on with my previous orginally installed keyboard. THe technicians thought that something was spilt on to my computer and then they cleaned it out. In short, I am back with my original keyboard now for which I have no typing problem but freezes on every program i run.

Awaiting info.

Thanks
Ardyth
