I bought and Old iBook G3 its running OS X 10.3.9 it has a 800 MHz proc. 640Mb Sdram. I didn't have the discs but I bought it on ebay OS X 10.0.3 I tried installing it with OS x 10.3.9 on it but it wouldn't I received a message "errror 1". I would like to wipe the hard drive clean and do a fresh reinstall of 10.0.3 is it impossible to install that version, did I waste my money on the Disc? If I can install can you tell me how to clean the hard drive? I never worked with Apples before so I really don't know the language.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me,
