Tiger Direct is running some pretty sweet deals on reasonably sized SSDs:

OCZ Octane 128GB normally $219.99; now $129.99 after instant savings & rebate. Offer ends 04/30/2012.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! :D

Patriot Pyro 120GB normally $179.99; now $114.99 after instant savings & rebate. Offer ends 04/30/2012.

I'm kinda kicking myself cause I won't be able to take advantage of these great deals...at least not right now.

thank you! I have been waiting for a price drop for awhile now. I have been having a friend ask what drive they should get too...

You're quite welcome. It'll be a while before we see any significant price drops in SSDs, it's still a relatively new technology but until then we can count on deals like these. :)

As for what SSDs to look for I'd ask happyrock here on the forums. He's helped me with my parts list for the computer I'm getting ready to build and really knows his stuff when it comes to SSDs.
