Howdy ya'll, first off massive apologies this is probably a really stupid question which I will answer myself but I'm not particularly computer literate and google returned nada so here goes. I bought a PC January this year and have a 27" ASUS monitor, but it has always blacked out the images and shrunk the image on my screen. I want to take full advantage of the size but no program or game will make use of all of the screen. I have tried playing with setting sin display but can find nothing that will work. Is it a mathematical problem where for high def. a 27" monitor is not the right dimensions to display anything in full screen? It isn't the end of the world, but I lose a good couple inches which would be great for arranging my desktop and adding plug-ins with rainmeter amongst other things.

Hey Shadow_Minister,

I have seen this before.

• Usually in the cases I have found it has to do with an application setting in ATI (your video card settings)
