Just did that and all the folders are still showing emtpy.

I am at a loss on this one, as windirstat shows about 1GB of data in documents and settings. And if they were hidden then resetting the file view should have shown them ... I will need to do some further investigation on this

yeah, i can use firefox fine...but safari is empty, itunes, quicktime, etc...all music files pictures. I even tried reinstalling itunes but it said there was a problem with the windows installer and was unable to install.

When you try to run Itunes what error do you get ?
