My Dvd-ROM is not working. I can't play games, open files, nothing! And when I try playing dvd's the screen is black with purple dots.. And when I try to burn a CD in Nero,
I can set it to source drive, but if I do that, there's no option on what the destination drive should be! All of this was perfectly fine before I formated C. (some tech dude did it for me). :tazz: please!

when you formatted who installed windows you or the tech guys. try right clicking on my compter and going to properties then hardware then device manager find your drive. Is there a yellow error symbol by anything? Find the cd drive right click and go to properties. does it say enabled. does it say the device is working properly?

It's not a burner. The thing is that nero can't find it. If I try to copy a whole cd, it's nowhere to copy from.
It's not new, I have jused it before.

The tech guy installed windows. And the device manager says that everything is working properly. But thanks for trying! Does anybody else know the answer? :tazz:
