I believe I have been infected by some bull anitivirus gold stuff. My screen is black and it says "you have been infected....." Anyway, I did everything you guys said to do before I post my hijack log. I am able to get to my home page now and surf the net. Before I was limited to the pages I could surf. Now all I have is a black screen with the infected words on it. If I click in the middle of the screen I get directed to www.antivirus gold site. Can you please help?

While your computer is restarting, tap the F8 key continually until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter.

Doubleclick the AVGoldfix.reg we made earlier.
And (still in safe mode) use the DiskCleanup Tool to empty all your Temp folders.

Delete the entire folder C:\Program Files\AntiVirusGold

Then boot back to normal, run HijackThis again and post a new log.
This time include the header and the running processes, so we can make a more complete fix.
