Thanks for the confidence. I always run in to surprises when I offer to help my co-workers. You must be like a Borg :) connected to the internet and providing responses before my screen refreshes. Thanks for being there, talk with you Friday evening.

The machine is working well. I am a bit surprised the unit doesn’t respond better than my laptop. The cable connection worked but I would have said like DSL speed not Cable. The FileHippo update checker would not fully install the .net software. I installed .net by going directly to Microsoft’s site. I ran the FileHippo update checker after the .net installed, the checker software appears to load correctly. I did update the Adobe Reader and Java software. I am pleased with the operations of the computer – I didn’t spend and hour just for the login screen to appear. My co-work will work with the unit through the weekend and I report her comments Tuesday when I hear from her at work. I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Well, my co-worker is pleased, that is what I think. Her excitement is not as high as I would have been if it was my equipment that someone had improved. So I will tell you, I got a home-made pizza this morning from her. She acted totally surprised that I said I would have a hard time sharing it with you. She thought I was doing all the work myself. I told her, I was just the visual and labor on this end, someone with experience and brains made it happen. I want to thank you for all your support and direction. Unless the machine begins to smolder or makes funny noises (which will be a different issue) my co-worker is on her own to for a few months. I think this issue is ready for closing.

Thanks you
