Just popped out the battery. Apparently it IS still circular, quarter shaped. Odd. Only it's facing upright as opposed to lying down. Alright I'm gonna reassemble this and boot it up. I'll report back with an update soon

Odd, it looks rectangular from all the pictures I saw of it. Must just be the angle of it in the pictures.

Anyways, glad you got it out, and lets home it works once you plug everything back in!

That screen you got is normal, like I said in my previous post, you may get an error like this. This happens because you took the battery out of the computer, which in turn made it forgot the date and time, just like if you took the battery out of an electronic clock and when you put it in it is flashing 12:00. Same deal here. Just go into setup like it says (hit F1) and set the date and time.

Anyways, looks like you are back on track as long as the keyboard works to get you into setup by hitting F1.

Quite possible that you didn't plug everything back in. I'd check that stuff again. Best thing to do is actually remove everything but the video card and hard drive, disconnecting the power and ide/sata cables to everything else. It's what I do when trying to trouble-shoot an issue, because the fewer things you have plugged in means fewer things to check out. :)

It's late here, almost 11pm, so I'm heading off to bed, but will check this post again around 6:30-7:00am. Hopefully it is all working by then!

Funny it says that, and it keeps making me select my boot drive. I just pushed enter on Floppy and it still gets me to my desktop WITH my local disk intact

I managed to figure out that it is just telling me adapter 2 is without a hard disk. Rearranged my boot priorities as well. Thanks for the help Fenor
