I have a virus that I first tried to get rid of with AVG, Ewido, and Ad-aware. Didn't work.

When I log onto the internet, after a varying amount of minutes (sometimes 3 sometimes 20) all of a sudden I'll get a relentless, endless series of pop-ups.
It started with an Aurrora ad. So I found this site and followed someone elses thread with HiJackThis and a remove.bat log. My friend said that might have been a dumb move because every comp is different. I don't get the Aurrora ad anymore, but still get the pop-ups. Looked around on web, thought it might be a Sasser worm? Downloaded Stinger and ran it. It helped for a while but, the pop-ups just started up again. Can anyone help? Should I post a Hijack log somewhere?
Thanks,
Marcus
