Hello
Regarding your question about the best antivirus, there's no best antivirus, it all depends from your needs. However I would suggest Free Avast, which I can see you already installed it :D

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

Next:

Perform a full scan with Avast and delete anything found.
To do this, open avast, click Scan Computer tab and click Scan now sub-tab. Near Full system scan click Start.
When it's finished, post the tell me if it found anything. If it did, post the log here

Next:

Make sure your computer is up to date. Tutorial for this here
If you are asked to reboot after updating, please do so.

Next:

Follow this tutorial here
Then try to log into hotmail from Internet Explorer.
Tell me the results

Hmmm... <_<

Open up internet explorer but don't go to hotmail yet
Click Tools > Internet Options.
Go to Content tab and click Clear SSL State
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset. Then click Reset again.
When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box.
Start Internet Explorer again.
Go to https://account.live.com
Try to log in from there and tell me if the same problem exists

Next:

If the problem still persists, do this:

Run OTL
  • Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

    :Files
    ping hotmail.com /c

  • Then click the Run Fix button at the top
  • A log will pop up, post it here.

Are there are any other computers at the same network with this computer? (your home?) If yes, please tell me if they have the same problem

Hello

Sorry for the late reply

What about Avast and Microsoft essentials which to use?

They are both good, I'd suggest Avast but if you are having problems with it then use MS Essentials.

Is there a way for you to connect to a different network (not your home's one) with the computer you are having problems and try to go to hotmail to see if you still get the same problem?

Also did you go to windows updates and confirmed that you have the latest updates for your computer, as instructed in post #17?

Hello

i tried opening from another laptop not getting same problem (different network)

That doesn't work. If you find a chance to connect this laptop to a different network, test hotmail and tell me if you get the same results.

Hello
If your phone has the same problem I believe that it has to do with your router. I'll consult the technicians first, but I'm thinking about a router reset.

I'll post back when I receive a reply from them

Don't Forget:
Please follow the instructions in my previous post to find the error code when trying to log in msn and post it here.
