Hello,

New to the forums. Was hoping to get help with an application called OMNIPAGE PRO 16. When opening this application the error message pops up that server is busy and gives the options of "switch to" or "retry". After several minutes if you hit 'retry' the application finally loads successfully. Have spent time with vendor of product tech support but none of the fixes they suggested worked. After continuous research on the internet found this problem to be throughout several versions prior to this with no luck in fixing the issue. Suggested fixes included renaming the Twain_32 to Twain_32_old, making a new Twain_32 folder and reloading .ds drivers into the new folder one at a time. Also, flushing the DNS through IPCONFIG. Seems that Nuance would have pinpointed this problem by now and fixed but have even found that within previous version release notes that this was a known issue and just to wait it out until OMNIPAGE loads successfully.
Seems to me there should be a way of troubleshooting the cause but I am stumped as to where to go or how to continue to troubleshoot.

OMNIPAGE 16 PRO
WINDOWS 7 PRO 32/64 bit
New WIN 7 Driver for XEROX DOCUMATE 262
DELL DESKTOP
OFFICE 2010
ADOBE PRO

If anyone else has run into this issue and repaired please respond.

Thank you,
